Into Thin Air Post #1

My favorite character so far is the author, Jon Krakauer. He is a good storyteller, he is funny, he seems nice to the other people on their expedition and he is a hard worker. He, and a lot of other people, are climbing the tallest mountain in the world, Mt. Everest. It is no easy feat, but Jon never gives up.  He doesn't talk about himself much, but instead gives a lot of detail on the other people on the trip. He is courageous and doesn't give up on his friends, even when he has to put his own life at stake. The person i like the least is the leader of the South African team. He takes a group with him, but while he is up on the mountain he sends them home because he is angry and is taking it out on them.
